No More Wallowing in the Mud!

Peter observed a dog returning to its vomit and a pig going back to wallow in the mud and God showed him that people can be like that (2 Peter 2:22).

It’s easy to read Peter’s words and start judging people who are foolish. Why does she keep struggling with that? What’s the matter with him? He should know better than to do that! Be careful! That common response of using insight from God to judge others will distance you from the Holy Spirit and slowly drain the life out of your soul.

Jesus, in Your Name I Hope

The way to life and freedom is to trust in the name of the Lord. The wise man says: “The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe” (Proverbs 18:12).

But what does it mean to trust in the name of the Lord? In my personal life and in my ministry as a psychologist and spiritual mentor I have learned that we must learn to bring our reliance upon the name of the Lord into our daily life challenges and struggles.
