Psychotherapy

Bill Gaultiere and Kristi Gaultiere have been offering Christ-centered psychotherapy to people in Irvine and Orange County, CA since 1987. We no longer offer psychotherapy, but through Soul Shepherding we now offer coaching and spiritual direction ministry individuals or couples to people around the world through Zoom. Our ministry is informed by Christ-centered psychology and spirituality.

We help adults and couples with:

Leadership
Stress overload and work-life balance
Spiritual dryness or anger at God
Mild to moderate anxiety or depression
Relational issues
Conflict resolution
Life transitions
Painful memories
Compulsive behavior
Spiritual and emotional growth

By assisting Jesus, the Wonderful Counselor, we help you learn how to meet your needs and to develop more loving relationships with God and others.

You can learn how to live in the peace and joy of Christ everyday!

Getting Started

Coaching or spiritual direction sessions are 45-minutes (you can schedule more time) in our Irvine office or on Zoom. The fee is $500 (discounted to $275 for pastors and missionaries) paid for at the time of service by check or cash. Most clients meet with us monthly or for 1 to 3 days of intensive coaching (this includes Sabbatical coaching).

In the first session you will fill out an intake form, go over the coaching policies, ask any questions you have, talk about what you need help with, introduce the background to your problem, and receive preliminary recommendations. (We can e-mail the paperwork to you.)

Referrals

We have trained a staff of coaches and spiritual directors who can care for you on Zoom at a substantially reduced rate. Check out our directory of coaches and spiritual directors.
