Each month I am making space for your soul to meet
with Jesus on a sacred path (spiritual practice) in a community of like-minded friends who long for
more of God. We’ll drink in
deep of the Spirit’s living waters so that we can grow spiritually and overflow
with his love to others who are thirsty.
Together we’ll learn from the
Bible what it means to follow Jesus as his disciple in the Kingdom of the
Heavens in the midst of our daily lives here in Orange County. And we’re not going to just talk about life
with Christ – we’re going to experience it! Each meeting we’ll walk together down an ancient prayer pathway
to help us to connect with Christ and to become more like him.
We’ll meet Jesus in our midst
and follow him on sacred paths like:
- Lectio divina (meditation on
Scripture)
- Centering prayer
- Silence
- Submission to the King
- Journaling
- Spiritual conversation
Come alone or come with friends
from your church or group.
You’ll be helped to overcome
personal struggles.
You’ll be inspired by
testimonies of how others are learning to follow Christ.
You’ll learn new spiritual
growth practices to use in your life and to share with your friends or your
small group.
Jesus
said: “The
kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field. When a man found it, he
hid it again, and then in his joy went and sold all he had and bought that
field” (Matthew 13:44).
I am that man! Are you a man or woman like that? Have you found the treasure worth giving up everything for? Learning to live my whole life as Jesus’
apprentice in his kingdom has brought me into a life of love, joy, peace, and power that I never
would’ve imagined possible before. As
the Apostle Paul said, I invite you to “follow
me as I follow Christ” (1 Corinthians 11:1).
